After completing a BA (Hons) in Theology and Religious Studies with English Literature, I trained as a proofreader and copyeditor with The Publishing Training Centre in London (previously known as Book House). I worked for several publishing companies in London before completing my MA in Personnel and Development and becoming an HR manager for an overseas development charity.

 

I moved to Wellington, New Zealand, in 2009. I now work from home as Executive Officer for two not-for-profit member organisations, as well as homeschooling my teenage daughter and holding a number of voluntary roles for community organisations. I have also been working as a proofreader for WordFire Press since 2017.
